Weeding and first pumpkin

Last weekend I did some more tidying and weeding. Having pruned out the old Raspberry canes, I weeded them and tied the new canes into the wires (see above). It looks much better now. I also did some weeding around the leeks (see below).


On 1st September I picked the first pumpkin of the year. It was one of the smaller ones of the 11 that have grown from 4 plants. I also picked a Sweet Dumpling squash and the only Aubergene that has grown so far. Along with a pepper, courgettes, onions, garlic and tons of tomatoes we were able to have a home grown Ratatouille.
